The Wild Riders of Saim Hann

Oh know! After doing some test models, i found it would be too much of a slug for my first army to paint saim-hann.

I've got about 3500 points of Eldar now (close to it) so i'll be going with the yme-loc craftworld. It gives me a nice excuse to add in a flyer or titan to :D Also it's quite a lot faster then painting a lot of red ;)

Here's the scheme i'll be going with. The model below isn't mine but i've nearly finished a test model, that looks similar, trust me ;)

After this change of scheme i'll be opening up another blog called the artisans of yme-loc. Linky coming once i finish the test.

Heres the test base for all my bikers. I'm going for a forest sort of theme. Once i do a display base i'll have some overhanging trees from some unknown death world :P Their will be water on the front grey bit, dripping from the old pipes. It's a 40mm one ;)

Now i will be able to finish the army as i'm finishing 2 commisions over the weekend for 2 clients. That'll be enough for most of my army. Then i'll be doing another one later in the month just before the tournament to grab the rest of the bikers.

Theirs a second fella. I'm just wondering what else could i use for singing spears besides the power weapon out of the Dire Avengers box??

Here's a start to the seer council or the warlocks in the GJB squad. Depends on if the seer council will look 'stronger' at all. What do you guys think??

The start of an army!

G'day Fellas, been following some other blogs for a while and decided to start my own after writing up a couple of lists. Once i had seen fritz' Saim Hann host from a while back i'd been toying with a list and now it'll become true :P

So far i only have half the models but i'm looking forward to purchasing the others pretty soon.

Once i figuire out a few other things like funds and availability of models i'll update :D
